Who is your daddy?

If you’re reading this, you’re probably wondering who I am. Well, I’m a fairly average girl from Melbourne’s west, trying to make it through life, just like everyone else. I know this next part doesn’t sound super average, but here it is: I’m currently living in Tokyo, Japan. Moving here in 2017 has been one of the biggest changes in my life and I endeavour to share my experiences to help anyone moving—or travelling—to Japan navigate a little savvier.

…and what does he do?

I’ve always loved making things. From home-made horror films to Sims communities fraught with drama to poems, scripts and stories…I can’t stop. So, it’s fortunate that now I’ve found myself in my element: working with social media, photography, video and storytelling.

Lately, I’ve been writing about Japan. A lot. I’ve supported the Kiso Ontake Tourism Office with copywriting and social media, have written literally hundreds of articles for Japan Journeys and even a piece for Mind Food. If you’d like to work with me, please get in touch!

While this blog is basically an outlet for the thoughts whizzing around in my brain, I hope it speaks to someone out there, in even a small way. If I can make you smile or laugh, show you how to navigate some weird experience in Japan, or inspire you to do something that brings you happiness… well, that’d make my day.
